Hell! I want BOTH Mustangs!!

The 2018s might be “ugly” compared to what came before to some, this is the only 2018+ that looks good to me. Can’t wait to see this at the auto show!

I can already see that grille being a hot aftermarket accessory. Now American Racing need to make a correct looking torque thrust for that car. Not a fan of the black wheels.

Me too. Unfortunately, I don’t believe classic torque thrusts look good on modern cars. It’s too retro on too new of a body style.

There’s just something “wrong” to me about the new Mustang design that I don’t like, and seeing these 2 next to each makes me realize what it is. The front clip.

On pretty much every previous generation, the top of the front clip went out further, and the bottom was swept back, like a shark.

Now, the top of the front clip just droops down, like a sad old Nissan 350z. More like a catfish than a shark. And it doesn’t work.

To me, the modern Mustang design is not Mustang design.

Anywhoo - everyone loves a “Bullit” green Mustang. The color rocks.

Actually, they were a natural magnesium, which, if not cleaned properly, turns very dark, almost black. So, not black, just not cared for.

I think they are the dark grey, but it might have been a difference between the different cars used. Most American Racing wheels of the era were various shades of grey.

I think the current mustang could pull them off, the shape still has enough of the classic look, same with the challenger. The 5th gen Camaro could do it as well, but the classic wheels would look terrible on my 6th gen.
